Comments

When you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect your name and email address. We also collect your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar Site to see if you are using it. The Gravatar Site Privacy Policy is available here.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture, name and the information you post is visible to the public.

Contact forms

When you leave a contact request, we use WP Forms to collect and store your name and email address in order to reply to your contact form submission. WP Forms outlines the use of your personal data and anonymised data here.

Mailing list

You may choose to voluntarily provide us with your name and email address, so that we may send you newsletters. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. We will use your email address based on your consent.

Analytics

We may also use Google Analytics to analyse the audience of the website and improve our content. Google Analytics records information about the pages a user has seen, e.g. URL, time of day, device used, etc. No personal information is collected from Google Analytics, and all information is anonymised.
